A BIBU Year-2 student, Marcus YEE, excelled in the EY Academy CSR Challenge 2018 and received the Best Team Award - Champion & Most Favorite Video (A.I.) Team.
With the theme “AI and FinTech”, the challenge aimed to help students cultivate entrepreneurial skills by working on real-life business projects, with advice provided by professionals and mentors.
By collaborating with the Hong Kong Cyberport and Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation, EY Academy identified eight local entrepreneurs in both AI and FinTech categories providing real-life case study projects. The competing teams were required to create videos showcasing entrepreneurs’ businesses for public voting, conduct marketing research and prepare marketing proposal to the identified entrepreneurs after conducting company visits.
As a member of the Best Team Award - Champion and Most Favorite Video (A.I.) Team, Marcus says “I am extremely delighted that our group’s hard work has been recognized by the distinguished judges. Not only has this contest broadened my horizons on the latest business and technology advancement, it has also shaped me as a better team player. Therefore, the CSR Challenge is definitely an invaluable experience to me.”
Last but not least, we would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere congratulations on Marcus’s achievement at EY Academy CSR Challenge 2018.
